Welcome to Cooking with DJ, a heartfelt resource!  We are dedicated to helping individuals with autism, both verbal and non-verbal, gain independence and self-reliance. As a mother and son living with autism, we understand the challenges and the importance of developing life skills that can foster confidence and autonomy... and yes we understand the worries.  Our platform offers a variety of engaging interactive content that cover essential skills such as preparing meals, doing laundry, grocery shopping, traffic safety, navigating recreational outings, and also just plain fun like finding the best restaurants and hotels while we are out having a blast! 

 

Our goal is to be a great fun resource for families living with Autism.  By helping to teach and reinforce practical skills needed for individuals to live as independently as possible with minimal assistance. 

All in a fun way, while sharing our trials and triumphs.

In addition to our practical life skills resources, we offer a Mom’s Corner for parents to connect, share advice, and support each other. Our Facebook Page Community offers commodery and fun games and prizes, Medical Moments with experts, and educational content from certified ESE teachers further enrich the experience. We also provide information on helpful programs and services that can make a meaningful difference in your journey.
